Has anyone noticed that people don't care about the effect of lollies on their teeth anymore?

Perhaps it's just my age, but it seems to me that people have forgotten about plaque and sugar and such and now just concentrate on sugar making one fat. Are we just so obsessed with our bodies that teeth don't matter anymore?
